Privacy policy
Last updated: 11 July 2026
This policy explains how My Double Glazing Quote (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects and uses your personal data when you request a double glazing quote through this website. We are the data controller for the information you submit here and we handle it in line with UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR.
What we collect
When you complete our quote form we collect the details you provide:
- Your contact details: first name, last name, email address, phone number and postcode.
- Your enquiry details: whether you own your home, and the information needed to understand and price your double glazing project.
- Marketing attribution data: collected automatically to understand how you reached us — this includes the campaign source and medium, referring/landing page, UTM parameters and advertising click identifiers (for example Google and Meta ad click ids), your device/browser user-agent and IP address.
How we use your information
We use your details to process your quote request and to connect you with a suitable, vetted double glazing installer who can prepare your quote. We, or the matched installer, will contact you by telephone in direct relation to the enquiry you have made — to discuss your requirements and arrange a free, no-obligation quote and home survey. We also use marketing attribution data to measure and improve our advertising.
Our lawful bases are your consent (given when you submit the form) and our legitimate interest in responding to and fulfilling the enquiry you have made.
Sharing your information
Qualified enquiries may be passed to a matched double glazing installer (including our installation partner, Help 2 Buy Windows) so they can contact you about your quote. We do not sell your data. We may also share data with service providers who help us operate this website and process enquiries, and where we are required to do so by law.
How long we keep it
We keep your enquiry data for as long as needed to deal with your request and for our legitimate business and legal purposes, and no longer than 24 months after your last contact with us, unless a longer period is required by law. Marketing attribution data is retained for up to 24 months.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. You can also withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. You have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
We set first-party cookies to remember marketing attribution while you use the site. See our cookie policy for full details.
